Michael John Gorski, 55, of Glen, MS, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mike was an avid tennis player with a USTA tournament rating of 4.5 and also a pickleball enthusiast. He was a diehard Cubs fan and a passionate Chicago Blackhawks fan, as well as a loyal Donald Trump supporter. He was from Elgin, IL, and graduated from Judson College where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and was a valued member of the men’s tennis team. Mike was employed by Cisco as a software engineer where he had multiple cherished friends and colleagues. He is survived by his mother, Rita Gorski; his twin sister, Dr. Marie Gorski (Terrence Doyle); and many friends and colleagues. Mike was a great friend to all that knew him, very generous and kind. He was preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand Gorski and his brother, Leonard Gorski. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, at St. James Catholic Church in Corinth, MS. Mass will follow at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at St. James Catholic Church, officiated by Father Patrick Joseph Curley. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Iuka, MS.
