Joshua Chase VanzantJoshua Chase Vanzant, age 28 of Dalton, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was born in Winchester on January 26, 1993 to Aubrey Vanzant and Tina Majors Biddle. He was employed as a quality manager for a metal fabrication company. He was a big USC football and Clippers basketball fan. His number one pastime was spending time with his twin daughters, Ashlyn and Joshlyn. Joshua was goal oriented and hardworking, but also loved to make people laugh and be the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lee Vanzant; and uncle, Jerry Majors Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Ashlyn Vanzant and Joshlyn Vanzant, both of Dalton, GA; mother of his daughters, forever loved, Ashley Taylor of Dalton, GA; mother, Tina Majors Biddle of Winchester; dad, Aubrey Vanzant of Winchester; sisters, Emilee Jessika Vanzant of Winchester, B.J. Vanzant of Nashville; brother, David Vanzant of Winchester; grandmother, Thelma Vanzant of Winchester; grandparents, Jerry and Debra Majors of Winchester; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Ken Wilkerson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Garner cemetery.
