Ms Alice Roberta (Preston) Posey, age 83, of Huntsville, AL peacefully passed away, Saturday, May 8, at her daughters home in Ardmore, AL. She was surrounded by her children who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Posey; son, Myron Posey; grandson, Tyler Posey; daughter-in-law, Brenda Posey; sister, Dorothy Hicks & brother, Terry Preston.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Posey & Barry (Lorie) Posey; one daughter, Angie (Eric) Stegall; two brothers, Jimmy (Alice) Preston & Stanley (Brenda) Preston; 6 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces & friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends, Wednesday, May 12, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in Spry’s Chapel with pastor Stan Mullins officiating. Interment will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
