Lois Edward “Ed” Tidwell, age 80, of Ethridge, TN passed away Monday, May 03, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Lee’s Refrigeration, and a member of Crewstown Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ida Clifton Tidwell.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Marie Chapman Tidwell of Ethridge, TN; three children, Lawrence Tidwell (Anita) of Ethridge, TN, Lisa Tidwell Walker and Bobby J. Tidwell (Krystal), both of FL; nine grandchildren, John Austin Tidwell, John Austin Tidwell, Alicia Marie Tidwell, Holly Marie Tidwell, Hope Marie Tidwell, Cory James Ed Walker, Shawn Timothy Walker, Cody Gage Tidwell, and Miranda Dawn Tidwell; one great-grandchild, Aydan Wayne Stroh; one brother, Everett Lee Tidwell of Lawrenceburg, TN; and four sisters, Geneva Pollock of Lewisburg, TN, Rosa Harris of Leoma, TN, Pauline Bradley of Murfreesboro, TN, and Dorothy Tidwell of KY.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 07, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 08, 2021, with Jerry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
