Billy Joe Carruth, Sr., 69, of Ardmore, TN passed away May 2, 2021 in Madison, AL. He was born August, 12, 1951 in Alabama to the late William Mason Carruth, Jr. and Kattie Sue Gatlin.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Carruth, Ardmore, TN; son, Billy Joe Carruth, Jr., Athens, AL; brothers, Richard Carruth, Athens, AL and James Carruth, Toney, AL; sister, Peggy Ann (Scott) Brewer, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Lee Carruth and Mason Carruth; and great-grandchild, Zane Carruth.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 5th 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Keenum officiating. Burial will follow at Legg Cemetery, Lester, AL.
Pallbearers will be Lee Carruth, Mason Carruth, Mark Guisasola, Jon Lerma, Phil Norton, and Keith Norton. Honorary Pallbearer, Buddy Tate.
In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19 those attending the services will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.
