Dorothy Marie Smith, age 93, of Boaz, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Diversicare Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Boaz Carr Chapel, with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Carter. Rev. Jeff Teal will officiate.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:30 p.m until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Cindy Dalton (Alan), Jeff Holland (Rachel), Tammy Roberts, Eric Forrester (Ladora), Bradley Smith, and Eddie Smith, a host of great and great great grandchildren, sister; Judy Vaughn, and a brother; Thomas Mintz (Martha).
She is preceded in death by her husband; Edward Smith, daughter; Ann Forrester, and a son; Jackie Smith.
