Paul Henry Glaus

Paul Henry Glaus, age 78 of Belvidere, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton. A native of Franklin County, he was born on November 18, 1942 to the late, Paul Herman and Mabel Elizabeth Janson Glaus. He was employed as a math teacher for 2 years in Lincoln County and then 15 years in Franklin County at South Jr. High School. After teaching he became a full time row crop farmer and loved to drive his Massey Ferguson combine and his Ford tractor. He was also a lifetime member of the Belvidere UCC where he served as treasurer and deacon. Paul loved to talk to anyone he met, and when people would ask him for directions, he would give them using the Cardinal Directions instead of giving street names. He was a wonderful and kind hearted brother and uncle, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Henry and Anna Glaus; maternal grandparents, Ed and Amelia Janson. He is survived by his brother, Edwin (Lanna) Glaus of Belvidere; niece, Julie (David) Farris of Belvidere; great niece, Amberlea (Logon) Champion of Belvidere; great nephew, David Adam Farris of Belvidere; several cousins; and special friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Belvidere UCC, with the service following at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jan Whiteman officiating.
