  Louise CovingtonLouise Covington, passed away Friday April 16, 2021 in Giles County. She was born on January 4, 1947 in Pulaski, Tennessee and was 74 years old.

Louise was a member of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church who loved the Lord, daily Bible reading and service through hospitality. She was very family oriented, and in her later years moved back to Giles County to be with and take care of them. She was especially fond and proud of her grandson. Louise was an avid shopper and collector of “what nots” and rare coins, especially “K” dollars. She will be missed on this Earth, but will forever remain in the hearts of those whom she loved.

Visitation will be Friday April 23, 2021 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm Friday, April 23, 2021, in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home. The interment will be a later date at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ilon and Margarine Brown Cothran. Her husband, Otis Covington Sr, Brother, Mack Cothran. Sister, Mary Cothran. Brother, Herbert G. Cothran.

She is survived by her;
Son, Otis (Shantell) Covington, Jr. of Byron, Georgia.
Grandson, Otis Covington, III of Byron, Georgia.
Brother, Charlie Cothran of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Annie Kimbrough of Prospect, Tennessee.
Sister, Victoria Talley of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Eula Mae Abbott of Nashville, Tennessee.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins from the Covington and Cothran families, and numerous friends also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Louise Covington.
