Bobby Neal Staggs was born June 12, 1944 in Lawrenceburg, TN the son of the late Farce and Katy Mae Thornton Staggs. Mr. Staggs was a retired auto part sales manager for O’Reilly’s, worked for Barnett Motor Company, owned GT automotive and was a member of the Waynesboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was united in marriage to the former Lana Kay Devers on March 11, 1963. Mr. Staggs departed this life on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 10 Months.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lana Kay Staggs of Waynesboro, TN; two sons, Jason Neal Staggs and wife Deb of Jackson, TN, Jeffrey Nelson Staggs and wife LeeAnn of Savannah, TN; four grandchildren, Abbie Love and husband Chad, Colby Staggs and wife Kate, Eric Staggs, Bailey Sykes and John, great grandchildren, Lincoln Love, Jaxon Sykes, Lanna Love, Carter Staggs and Andie Love, a brother, Larry Wayne Staggs and wife Janet of Waynesboro, TN.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM and again on Thursday from 8:00 am until service time at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro.
Services will be held on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting the family with arrangements.
