Oliver Keith Mahan, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, April 10.

Mr. Mahan grew up in Baxter, TN. He moved to Huntsville, AL in 1966. He worked for the Huntsville Times for 33 years. Mr. Mahan served as a deacon for over 45 years. He was a faithful member of Oak Park Baptist Church. Mr. Mahan was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, and bluegrass music.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Anna Mahan; son, Randall Mahan (Kathy); daughters, Debbie Bradford and Barbara Norman; granddaughters, LeAnne Wooten (Patrick), Candace Hall (Jason), and Stacy Mahan; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Robert Mahan and C.G. Mahan; sisters, Jo Ashburn, Frances Netherton, Ann Steward, Janice Cochran, and Judy Tatanish; and several nieces and nephews.

Oliver is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Hattie Mahan; brothers, Cleamon Mahan and Alfred Mahan; sisters, Lorene Ashburn, Christine Dunn, Reba Massa, and Ruby Dixon; and his son-in-law, Jerry Bradford.
