John E. Joiner, age 93 of Horton passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Bro. Willis Kelley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mary Elizabeth Joiner, Eric Glover, Brantley Massey, James Boyd, Steven Boyd, Donald Ray Perkins and Zack Scott. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
He is survived by his children, Mary Elizabeth Joiner, Theresa Warner, John Joiner, Robin Smith, Roy Joiner, Lisa Joiner and Lindy Boyd (James), grandchildren, Nick Locke (Misty), Brandon Robbins (Donna), Halley Joiner, Randy Riddle (Caleb), John Buddy Robbins, Amanda Nesbitt (Rob), Derek Smith (Jennifer) and Steven Boyd (Jessica), a host of great-grandchildren, and sisters, Dorothy Joiner, Edith Plant, Hazel Marden and Evelyn Sitz.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Joiner, sons-in-law, Denny Warner and Danny Smith, brothers and sisters.
