Charles E. Clark, 70, died Monday, March 29, 2021 at North Al. Specialty Hospital, Athens, AL. He was born in Fulton, MS and was an electrician. He retired as a foreman for NTN Bower and G & G Steel. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

Services will be Thursday, April 1, 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, Tremont, MS with Bro. Wayne Napier and Bro. Jonathan Hurston officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years – Mitzi Clark, Red Bay, AL; two daughters – Susan Parker (Jeff) and Linda Cason (Derek) all of Red Bay, AL; five grandchildren – Alyssa Parker, Brodie Cason, Alex Parker, Jase Cason and A.J. Parker; one aunt – Helen DeRue, Twin Lakes, WI; two sisters – Martha Hurston, Fort Payne, AL and Joyce Russell (Truman) Red Bay, AL and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston and Molene Vaden Clark, his grandparents and brother-in-law, Rev. Jerry Hurston.

Pallbearers will be Shelby Blanton, Phillip Fowler, Cory Maxwell, Chris Christian, Jonathan Underwood, Shaun Rogers and Alan Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Palmer, Jeff Martin and members of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and he will lie in state Thursday, April 1, 12-1 p.m. at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.
