Jerry Dale Adams, 79 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Adams was born July 25th, 1941 to Prentise Earl Adams and Ludie May Romine Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by his life partner Barbara Jean Lamb, daughters Deborah Faye Kieff (David), and Lisa Gayle Maplesden; sisters Peggy Ann Hargrove, and Brenda Kay Adams; brothers Danny Earl Adams (Kathy), and Phillip Gordon Adams; four grandchildren Morgan Kieff, Mallory Kieff, Nicholas Maplesden, and Joshua Maplesden; great-granddaughter Avery Kieff; several nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister Linda Faye King; and brother Doyce Gerald Adams.
Visitation will be March 30th, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with David Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery. Mr. Adams pallbearers are Grady Berzett, Grady Swanner, Donnie Marlow, Chip Adams, Justin Adams, and Tommy Sharp. Honorary pallbearers are Walt Miller and Keith Brackeen.
