Lavonna Marjorie “Von” Allen, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe David and Lois Gobbell Allen; two brothers, Bobby Joe Allen and Norman Ray Allen; and sister-in-law, Norma Sue Allen.
She is survived by one sister, Alice Faye Allen of Lawrenceburg, TN; nephews, Tony Allen (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeff Allen (Frances) of Lawrenceburg, TN, David Allen (Cindy) of Leoma, TN, and Barry Allen (Laura) of Jasper, TN; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and special pet, Ellie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregiver, Netta Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Logan Allen, Josh Allen, Kendall Allen, Chris Logsdon, Bradley Britt, and Brock Berryhill.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, April 01, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 01, 2021, with Kevin Marston officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
