Reba Perry

Heaven received another angel when Reba Perry, age 94, of Priceville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Reba was born on January 27, 1927 to the late Clarence Tucker and Velma Tucker. Reba is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, H. T. Perry, son Chris Perry and brother Julian Tucker. Reba retired from Parisian as Alterations Manager after 25 years of service. After retirement she decided to return to work and worked for Dillards for 12 years also as their Alterations Manager. She was a member of Somerville Eastern Star and a longtime member of Serenity Baptist Church in Somerville. Reba loved the Lord and worked tirelessly to serve Him by helping others in need. She gave generously of her time and talents working in her church’s Clothes Closet and Food Distribution programs. Her greatest love was her family and her greatest passion was feeding everyone, you never left her home hungry! She was happiest when she had the entire family surrounding her and when the angels came to take her home to Heaven everyone was there giving her love and support. Reba is survived by four sons; Tommy (Connie) Perry, Harry (Becky) Perry, Dale Perry, Darrell (Tish) Perry and one daughter, Brenda Baker. She was grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren whom she loved dearly! She is also survived by a sister, Oaklene Ransom, brother, Larry Tucker and sister-in-law Arlene Tucker. Visitation for Reba will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. The service will be streamed live on Facebook at 2:00p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Reba’s grandsons and great- grandsons. A special thank you goes out to Cindy White, Ronald Baker and Heather Baker for their loving and tireless care of Reba during her time of need. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hospice or to a charity of your choice in loving memory of Reba.
