Funeral services for Mr. Harold Dyer, age 78, are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, March 19, 2021, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Red Walnut Cemetery. Mr. Dyer passed away on Wednesday at his home in Scotts Hill. He was born July 10, 1942 in Reagan to the late Auzzie and Flossie Mae Melton Dyer. He was retired from Leroy Somer and a member of Red Walnut Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and reading, and he loved to fish. Mr. Dyer was preceded in death by his son, Michael Gene Dyer. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Rebecca “Gail” Patterson Dyer; his daughter, Kim Williams (Jerry); three sisters, Mary Jo Smith, Shirley Tucker, and Linda Gress; granddaughter, Kealeia Scott (Kenny); great granddaughter, Maebre Scott; and two step grandsons, Zach and Kyle Scott. The family will receive friends on Thursday 5-9 PM and on Friday 12 – 2PM.
