Graveside funeral service for Ms. Lindi Diana Baluh Wadlington, age 72, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Gum Springs Cemetery with Bro. Ennis Hyman officiating.
Lindi was born on March 24, 1948 in Hammond, IN to the late Paul Baluh and Mary Augustine Bennett Murphy. She was the middle daughter of three girls. Lindi lived and attended school in West Palm Beach, FL. She passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021.
Lindi dedicated her life to others. She graduated as a registered nurse in 1973 and went on the become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in 1984. She worked in general medicine most of her life, but was later called to Psychiatry, along with her devoted service dog, Maybelline, to help those with abuse, addiction, and mental illness. Upon retiring from her medical career, she loved traveling the world. Lindi never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She opened her heart to so many people and the love she had for others will remain in the lives of all who knew her. Lindi was a devoted mother, sister, and friend.
Lindi leaves to cherish her loving memory, her son, Paul Wayne Wadlington and his wife Maribel Wadlington; sister, Cindy Murphy and her husband, Wes Cornelius; her son’s father, Wayne Wadlington; and a host of cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, John Townsend; and sister, Delores Valuh O’Shields.
