June Bailey Walz, 91, of Athens, AL, passed away on Thursday March 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 28, 1929 in Kentucky to Castle Bailey and Minnie Bailey. Mrs. Walz is preceded in to death by her husband John Walz, two daughters Donna Wilson and Susan Walz; two sons Larry Walz, and Richard Walz; two sisters Shirley Marshall, May Picklesimer; and four brothers Hilliard Bailey, Harold Bailey, Mort Bailey, and Harles Bailey. Mrs. Walz was survived by her daughter Vickie Foster; two sons Robert Walz (Jenny), and Jimmy Rudd; one sister Louise Clark (Orville), one brother Marcus Bailey, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Memorial will be held at a later date.
