Jimmie "Jim" Lee Willis Jimmie “Jim” Lee Willis, age 73, passed away on February 23, 2021 at his home in Ardmore, AL. He was born on March 10, 1947 to James and Evelyn Willis in Louisville, KY. Jim is a Vietnam Veteran (Army) and graduated from the University of Louisville with a Civil Engineering degree.

On August 11, 1966, he married his first wife Suzanne and they had two sons, Tim and Jason. He married his second wife Ruth on July 5, 2013. He started his railroad career as a clerk for the K&I Railroad and retired as a Track Supervisor with the Southern Railroad. He was a member of the VFW (Post 6636 Salem, IN.) and enjoyed horses, motorcycles and corvettes.

Jim is survived by his brother, Ronnie (Ellen)Willis; sister, Sandy; two sons, Tim (Kristy)Willis, Jason (Evai)Willis; step-children, Cherish Graham, Steve Graham; grandchildren, Shane (Amanda)Willis, Jacob Willis, Carmen Willis, and Kiana Cleveland; great-grandchild, Annabeth Willis; and four nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his first wife Suzanne Duffey Willis and second wife Ruth Wisenbarger Willis.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Friendship United Methodist Church North, 21960 Easter Ferry Road, Elkmont, AL 35620. With Pastor Dan Anderson officiating.

Jim was buried on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Catholic Cemetery of New Albany- Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana.
