Ms. Ruby Jean Teal PateMs. Ruby Jean Teal Pate of the Strawberry Community; graciously entered the Gates of Heaven on the evening of Friday – February 26, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Ms. Pate was born on the 8th of September in 1953 to the late Robert Otis Teal and Dorothy Mae Blankenship Teal in Blount County, Alabama. Ms. Pate is a retired seamstress with Wrangler. She enjoyed spending her free time playing cards, shopping, cooking, visiting the Smokey Mountains, but above all; she treasured the time she spent with her beloved family. Ms. Pate was a member of the Gathering Place in Hulaco, Alabama.
Ms. Pate leaves behind to reminisce and celebrate her life; sons, Benson Berry (Yolanda) and Jason Berry (Lisa); brother, Billy Teal (Linda); sisters, Mary Jane Price, Judy Brooks (Robby) and Debra Gortney (Charley); as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved parents; Ms. Pate is at last reunited with her son, Brandon Berry; brothers, Robert L. Teal and Ronnie W. Teal.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday – February 28, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – March 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Keith Parker, officiating services.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Ellenburg Cemetery in Joppa, Alabama.
Pallbearers escorting Ms. Pate to her final resting place will be; Nathan Pangle, Craig Halligan, Tom Fant, Scottie Price, Brian Cleveland and Alex Summers
