Lagatha Kaye Pylant, 68 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Pylant was born on January 5th, 1953 to Charles W. Jackson and Dorothy (Josephine) Hogan Jackson.
Mrs. Pylant is survived by her husband Roger Pylant; sons Jason Pylant (Tracy), Brandon Pylant (Melina), Derrick Pylant (Elizabeth); her mother Dorothy Jackson; her ten grandchildren; brothers Darry Jackson, Dennis Jackson; and sister Tanya Hancock.
Preceded in death by her father Charles W. Jackson.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pylant will be Tuesday, February 23rd, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Spencer Hardiman and Donnie Harvey officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hastings Cemetery.
Mrs. Pylant loved photography, wood working, yard sales, piano, and she was faithful in church. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
