Mrs. Peggy Jo Brizendine age 69 of Bridgeport passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at her home in Bridgeport surrounded by the her loved ones. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Stevenson for several years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Funeral services will also be on Tuesday February 23rd beginning at 1:00PM in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Chamblee officiating and burial to follow in the St Bonaventure Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Brizendine is survived by her husband of 49 years Mr. Robert Brizendine; daughters, Stacey Hubbard (Randall Potterfield) and Tracey (Wade) Payne; grandson, Cameron Hubbard; brothers, Donnie (Stacy) Abney and Michael (Sissy) Abney; and a host of Nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lee Owens Abney; and brother, Clyde Abney.
