Lois June Biggs Salvo, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, February 18, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Salvo was born December 28, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to Earl and Claire Golladay Biggs. She married James Eugene Salvo on December 17, 1960, in Plymouth, Michigan. Lois was a member of Iuka First Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, and horses. She also loved spending time with her family and decorating wedding cakes for family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Salvo of Iuka; two brothers, Jerry Biggs of Redford, MI, and Denny Biggs (Mona) of Cookietown, OK; two sisters, Bonnie Underwood (Jumbo) of Walker, LA, and Cheryl Marsh (Glen) of Iuka, MS; a brother-in-law, Mike Seymour of Randlett, OK; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Biggs of Westland, MI, Karen Biggs of Brighton, MI, and Rose Procter of Ocala, FL; 111 nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Albert and Clarissa Mae Golladay Biggs; her grandparents, Albert and Pearl Biggs, and Archie and Mae Golladay; three brothers, Fred Biggs, Gene Biggs, and Keith Biggs; a sister, Earlene Biggs Seymour; two nephews, Robert Seymour and Johnathon Marsh; and a niece, Shelia Biggs. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, at Iuka First Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Jamie Nanney and Bro. Todd Smith. Interment will follow in Iuka First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, at Iuka First Freewill Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Big Pasture Public Schools in Randlett, OK
