Will Ed Huber, 71 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Huber was born on August 10th, 1949 to Robert Lee Huber and Ida Bell King Huber.
Mr. Huber is survived by his son Jason Huber of Athens, AL; daughter Casey Ladon Tanner (Michael) of Hohenwald, TN; sisters Gale Durrett (Tommy) of Alabaster, AL, and Martha Ann Powell of Athens, AL; and grandchildren Erin Tucker, Haley Tucker, Thomas Tanner, and Jason Tanner.
Preceded in death by his parents; and brother R.L. Huber.
Funeral Services for Mr. Huber will be Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Eric Mattox officiating. Visitation will be 12:00pm-2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Wales, Ray Pressnell, Charlie Privett, Wade Loggins, Jason Huber, Michael Tanner, Thomas Tanner, and Jason Tanner.
Mr. Huber was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. He loved fishing, duck and turkey hunting, and gardening. And he especially loved Alabama Football.
