Ann Clark HamAnn Clark Ham, 81, of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday from Alzheimer’s. Ann was born in Fayetteville, TN and graduated from Central High School in 1957. She got her degree in journalism from Memphis State University and worked for the Department of Defense as a Public Affairs Officer. Ann began her career with the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command then went on to work at Walter Reed, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Tricare, and the Office of the Surgeon General.

She loved skating, yoga, book club, and going for walks. Ann was a member of Learning Quest and the Socrates Discussion Group.

Survivors include her daughters, Rachel Ham of Madison, AL and Charlotte Ham of Fort Collins, CO; as well as, her sisters, Susanna Clark of Carson City, NV, Rosemary Clark of Memphis, TN and her brother, James Porter Clark Jr. of Fayetteville, TN.

A memorial service will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home and virtually via live stream through tinyurl.com/83fl767x on Monday, February 22 at 3pm. Please contact Charlotte Ham at charlotteham2003@yahoo.com for zoom link information to participate.
