John Benjamin Hurn Sr., age 58 of Satsuma, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Hurn was born October 11, 1962 to John Hurn and Jenny Morris Hurn.
He is survived by his sons, John B. Hurn Jr. (Madison); daughter, Amy Beth Johnson; son, John Elijah Hurn; son, Joshua Andrew Hurn; sister, Tracy Rosser (Mike); grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth Hurn, Emma Isabelle Hurn, Matti Beth Johnson, Hadley Elizabeth Johnson and John D. Wilder Hurn.
Preceded in death by his wife, Stacey Hurn; son-in-law, Matthew Johnson.
Funeral services for Mr. Hurn will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Allison officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
