Richard Heath Johns Richard Heath Johns passed away Monday evening, February 15th, 2021, at Southern Tennessee Regional Pulaski. He was born on January 1, 1976 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and was 45 years old.

Heath was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son who always put his family first. He had a passion for deer and turkey hunting and lived for the outdoors. He loved golf and his competitive side made him hard to beat. Heath was a Tennessee Vol for life.

Visitation will be 12:00pm until 2:00pm Sunday, February 21st, 2021, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Kevin Wells, Bubba Benefield and Kirby Carpenter speaking.
The burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Memorial Gardens with Nick King officiating.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Gordon Barksdale along with his father-in-law Bill Thornton.

He is survived by his:
Wife, Leigh Thornton Johns of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Daughter, Madison Alexandria Johns of Florida.
Daughter, Cassidy Leigh Fairbanks of Alabama.
Daughter, Kelsey Grace Fairbanks Oxendine of Georgia.
Grandson, Jacob Ashley Oxendine.
Parents, Johnny Roger and June Barksdale Johns of Ethridge.
Sister, Heather (Brent) Cox of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Mother-in-law, Wanda K. Thornton of Mississippi.
Grandmother, Bobbie Barksdale Stinnett of Ethridge.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Richard Heath Johns.
