ALEA Issues Road Condition Update For February 16

TENNESSEEVALLEY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has issued an update on road conditions in the Quad Cites And Hamilton for Tuesday, February 16:

QUAD CITIES

Colbert County EMA has deemed all county roads impassable. All state and federal roads have icy conditions.

Franklin County EMA has deemed all roads in the county impassable.

Lauderdale County roads have icy roadway conditions.

Lawrence County roads have icy roadway conditions.

HAMILTON

Interstate 22 conditions are icy. Troopers are advising that conditions are deteriorating on the west side of I-22.

Walker County intersection of Gamble Mine Road and Red Mill Saragossa Road is flooding.

Winston County Commission has deemed all county roads impassable. There is a tree with power lines down across Alabama 195 at Jim Brown Road. All other state and federal roads have icy conditions.

Marion County: Trees are down and blocking outside lanes of U.S. 278 east of Marion County 59.

There are no reported weather-related travel issues in this area. Following is a county roadways update:

Morgan: All roads open at this time.

Limestone: All roads open at this time.

Blount: All roads open at this time.

Cullman: All roads open at this time.

 

GADSDEN POST

 

Dekalb: All roads open at this time.

Etowah: All roads open at this time.

Cherokee: All roads open at this time.

 

HUNTSVILLE POST

 

Madison: All roads open at this time.

Marshall: All roads open at this time.

Jackson: All roads open at this time.
