Mr. Jimmy Dale LaRueOn the evening of Saturday – February 13, 2021; Mr. Jimmy Dale LaRue passed away at Marshall Medical Center North at the age of 77 years.
Mr. LaRue was born on August 26, 1943 in Guntersville, Alabama to the late A.B. LaRue and Dovie Plunket LaRue. In his earlier years he worked as a heating and cooling technician for ‘Shaver Electric Company’. After he retired, Jimmy enjoyed being hands on at home with his gardening, camping with his wife, racing, spending time outdoors, Alabama Football, attending his grandkids and great grandkids ball games but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. LaRue leaves behind to celebrate his life and legacy; beloved wife of 55 years, Sandra Regina LaRue; son, Rodger Dale LaRue (Jennifer); daughter, Kelly Michelle Lawrence; sisters, Helen Fanchier and Judy Rice; grandchildren, Jessie Lawrence, Joey Lawrence (Rachel), Jake Lawrence, Josh Link (Ashely), C.J. Pippen (Kaylee) and Hunter Williams; great grandchildren, Mason Lewis, Riggs Lawrence and Jessie Williams.
In addition to his beloved parents; Mr. LaRue is at last reunited with his brothers, Alfred LaRue, Wayne LaRue, Billy LaRue and Joe LaRue.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Wednesday – February 17, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Wednesday – February 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Robert Cruise, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Brookwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. LaRue to his final resting place will be: Joey Lawrence, Jake Lawrence, Shon Royster, Brad Tittle, David Nunley and John Kelly.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Doug Turbeville, Curtis Pippen and Phillip Law
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Directing.
