Jasper Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Bremen

BREMEN, AL-On Thursday, February 11 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a two-veicle accident that has taken the life of one person and injured another:

“A two-vehicle crash at approximately 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, has claimed the life of a Jasper man.

Christopher Shane Dill, 29, was fatally injured when the 2004 Mack truck he was driving struck a Chevy Silverado. The Chevy failed to yield the right of way by making a left turn in front of the Mack truck. Dill, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Chevy, who was not using a seat belt, was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Alabama 69 at the 222 mile marker, approximately four miles southwest of Bremen. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
