Margaret Ann Hodges, 91, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Iuka, MS and was a caregiver. She was a member of Ekklesia Ministry Church.

Graveside services will be Saturday, February 13, 1 p.m. at Carter’s Branch Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS with Daniel Alexander and Pastor Kobe Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Carter’s Branch Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four children – Nana Cobbs, Lena Swinney, Earnest Hodges and Debra Spence; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brother-in-law – Walter Hodges and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hodges; six children, Tommy Gene Butler, Perry Boyd, Robert Hodges, Mary Ann Boyd, Kenneth Hodges and Mary Jean Boyd and brothers and sisters – Hamp Boyd, Gene Boyd, Willie Timblen, Authur Boyd, Betty Sullivan and Rosie Alexander.

Pallbearers will be Anderson Martin, Lawrence Neal, Phillip Allen, Johnny Southward, Jerry Taylor and Michael Luster. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Southward, Kirby Bogan, Robert Williams and Donald Martin.

Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, February 13, 11-12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
