Funeral services for Mr. Ed Ross, age 81, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home Scotts Hill Chapel with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Ross passed away Saturday at his home in Sardis. He was a member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church and retired owner of Ed Ross Trucking. Before trucking, Ed was a heavy equipment operator with TVA for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Ross was born October 7, 1939 in Crockett County, TN to the late Bernard and Jewell E. Russell Ross. He was preceded in death by one daughter- Peggy King, one brother- Roy Gene Ross, one sister-Willie Mae Johnson and grandson- Donnie Scott; Survivors include wife of 40 years- Dorothy Ross, one son- Ronnie Hart (Joyce), two daughters- Doris Scott (Danny) and Teresa Camper (Jeff), 8 grandchildren- Dorinda Petty (Kevin), Chris King (Michelle), Josh King (Amy), Chris McDaniel, Jeremy Hart (Brandi), Dustin Scott, Candice Peterson (Nick) and Kashia Camper, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
