June Johnson Moore Lindsey June Johnson Moore Lindsey, age 90, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

June graduated from Belgreen High School and retired from working with the Russellville Housing Authority. She loved her community and the city of Russellville. She was a wonderful cook and would never let you leave her house hungry. She always had a smile on her face and a hug for anyone. The family fondly remembers that she was the hostess of the family and she welcomed friends and family from all over into her home. June was a heartfelt giver of food and fellowship.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Franklin Memory Gardens. Speaking at the service will be Bro. Milford Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Benjamin Moore and Cecil Lindsey; son, Timothy Jay Moore; parents, Harman Clyde & Arie Willie (Kimbrough) Johnson; siblings, Ludie May Harris (Homer), Omer Lester Johnson (Vivian), Fred Edward Johnson (Kathrine), Ruby Irene Johnson Busby (Orlan), and Rosalind Manson Johnson Armor (Cecil).

She leaves to cherish her memory, the truest loves of her life, her grandchildren, Jay B. Moore (Susan), Kristy Moore, Gunner Moore; great-grandchildren, Lauren Madden, Morgan Bradford, Lexi Lamon, Madison Lamon; step-children, Tom Lindsey, Sandy Miok; special niece & nephew who was more like siblings to her, Betty Hester Fancher and Graton Hester; as well as a host of other nieces & nephews; and Susie Moore Tillery.

The pallbearers will be Jay B. Moore, Justin Madden, Steve Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and Scott Bookout. Honorary pallbearer will be Graton Hester.

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Terrace Manor Nursing Home for the love and care shown to our family.
