Mr. Chester Sullivan, age 87, passed from this life Sunday February 7, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.  A Van Buren County native, Chester was born in Spencer on October 27, 1933 to the late Titus Page and Della Elizabeth Yates Sullivan.  Chester retired from Acument Global, was a hard worker, an avid deer hunter/fisherman and beekeeper.  He was a member of Hill Road Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Vida Madewell, Lola Mitchell, Katherine Simmons, Clata Ray Mooneyham, T. P., Betty, Jim, Titus, Larry, Nathan, Ira Lee, and Leonard Sullivan, stepmother; Cora Sullivan.

Chester is survived by his loving family, wife; Sue Davis Sullivan, sons; Steve (Renee) Sullivan, Greg (Rhonda) Sullivan, Tony Jason (Lori) Sullivan, brothers; Joe (Mary) Sullivan, Wade (Brenda) Sullivan, sisters; Marlin (Gary) McCoy, Ella Jane (Paul) Knowles, grandchildren; Kayla (Chuck) Mitchell, Josh Browning, Toni Sullivan, Caleb (Hannah) Browning, Julie (Chip) Steward, Natalie Smith, great-grandchildren; Cade Mitchell, Colt Mitchell, Susie Steward and another one on the way. Nieces, nephews, and a large extended family also survives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery.  Visitation hours are Wednesday 10:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Spencer Town Cemetery Trust Fund for the upkeep of the cemetery.
