Jason Patrick Cossey 43, of Decatur passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama to Hassell and Melanie Cossey. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Melanie Peters (John); two brothers, Aaron Mitchell Cossey, Kyle Lance Cossey; sister Caroline Leigh Cossey Howard and half sister, Sonya Lynn Cossey Scott. Due to Covid a Celebration of Life service will take place on a later date. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
