Barbara Ann Johnson, age 57, passed from this life Sunday January 24, 2021 at Saint Thomas Mid-Town Hospital in Nashville, TN. Barbara was born in Tampa, FL on October 11, 1963 to the late James Milton and Willie Morine Reeves Yates. She was a homemaker and a member of Clark’s Chapel Church of God.
In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by son; Brandon Campbell, brother; Lynn Milton Yates, sisters; Donna Narramore, Brenda Sue Oakwood and Mary Ruth Wallace.
Barbara is survived by sons; Daniel Yates and Kevin (Shana) Waller, daughter; Megan (Nathan Cripps) Campbell, brothers; Mark (Tracy) Yates and James Wintford Yates, sisters; Frances (Dinky) Manley and Linda Lou Yates, grandchildren; Kayliegh Yates, Jasmine and Wyatt Waller, Sidney Young, Sophia, Felicity and Zylen Cribbs and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Jeff Smith and Bro. Jason Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday 10:00am to 8:00pm and Thursday 9:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
