Greta Jean Maricle Robinson, 70, of Cullman, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at her residence. Born in Corinth, MS, Mrs. Robinson graduated from Kossuth High School, and later received her nursing degree from Wallace State Community College. She was a lifelong licensed practical nurse and worked in several hospitals, nursing homes, and home health organizations. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved visiting the mountains. She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Robinson of Cullman, AL; two daughters, Tammy Lindsey (Danny) of Falkville, AL, and Michelle Shadden (Jeff) of Arab, AL; two sons, Brian Robinson (Jamie) of Dixon, MO, and Jason Robinson (Brandy) of Hatton, AL; one sister, Anita Lee (Terry) of Cullman, AL; ten grandchildren, Justin Grimmett, Jada Robinson, Autumn Robinson, Tyler Dowty, Caine Robinson, Amber Robinson, Audrey Robinson, Kristen Robinson, Alexis Robinson, and Taylor Robinson; and two great-grandchildren, Scarlette Grimmett and Charlee Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. R. “Dude” and Geneva Phillips Maricle; two sisters, Margaret Louise Maricle and Bonnie Lonell Credille; a brother, William Franklin Maricle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, graveside at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Billy Gable. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bill Maricle, Wade Credille, Justin Grimmett, Caine Robinson, Cecil Jacobs, and Roger Jacobs. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home of Alabama.
