Arrest Made In Deadly Friday Night Morgan County Shooting

FAULKVILLE-On Friday, January 22 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office released a statement concerning a shooting in Falkville resulting in the death of one person.  Motive has not been established and a suspect has been arrested:

“At approximately 1:30pm a shooting call was made to Morgan County 911 from a residence in the 1200 block of HWY 55 E between Falkville and Eva.
Deputies responded and secured the scene while investigators were en route.
At the scene, one deceased male was located and one male was detained.
Sheriff Puckett, District Attorney Scott Anderson and Coroner Jeff Chunn are on scene.
This is an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing. More information will be released when available.”
[Shooting Update]” Morgan County Sheriff Office investigators have arrested Richard Odell Clark, 42 of Falkville charged with Murder. The subject is booked into the Morgan County Jail. Bond has been set at $100,000.
Victim information release is pending notification of family.
