Gale Ruth Thompson passed away on Friday January 15, 2021. She was born on October 31, 1970 in Gary, Indiana to the late Garrett Thompson Jr. and Johnnie Mae Thompson.
Gale graduated from Weir High School in 1989, Weir MS. She studied Early Childhood Education at Atlanta Technical College and Political Science at Purdue University Northwest Indiana. Gale accepted Christ at an early age. She attended New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta Georgia. She loved mentoring and educating young children. She took pride in her accomplishments working with children in Decatur Georgia. Gale believed in education and protecting children from abuse and neglect.
Gale was preceded in death by her father Garrett Thompson Jr., sisters, Jacqueline and Marsha Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughter, Manyi Gabrielle Eno.; mother, Johnnie Mae Thompson; sisters, Marthetia Thompson Georgia, and Marleen Thompson, New Albany, Mississippi, brothers Garrett (Cindy) Thompson New Albany, MS, Gary Thompson, Georgia, Johnny (LaTanya) Thompson, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
