Barbara Ann Hamby, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Hamby was born October 26, 1939 to Leonard Samuel Barry and Lila Rose Pendley Barry.
Mrs. Hamby was a longtime member of Oakland Church of Christ. She left this world calling out to the Lord she served her whole life.
She is survived by her sons, D’Wayne Hamby (Sharon) and Alan Hamby; daughter, Malissa Knudtson; grandchildren, Tina Hamby, Elizabeth Hamby, Katherine Cagle and Geoffrey Knudtson and several great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lila Barry; her husband of 62 years, David Hamby; son, James Robert Hamby; granddaughter, Barbara R. Hamby.
There will be a private graveside held at Roselawn Cemetery with Rob Speer officiating.
