Graveside service for Betty “Wonnie” Wonnell Segars, 84, will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery  with Bro Chris Godbee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Johnson Chapel  Cemetery. No public visitation is being held.

Mrs. Segars died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her residence.  She was born September 22, 1936, in Lawrence County to Ernest Carter and Bell Burnett Carter.  She was a homemaker for her family and a floral designer. Preceding her in death were her husband: Louie Ralph Segars, her parents, a son: Richard Segars, a daughter-in-law: Karen Segars, a grandson: Benjamin Segars, two Sisters: Bonnell Kizzar and Mary Lynch and a brother: Donald Carter.

Survivors include

Son – Rickey Segars (Pam)

Daughter – Rhona Segars Voss (Danny)

Sisters – Dorothy Ward (Randall) and
Laverne Foster (Don)

Grandchildren and Pallbearers  – Chad Segars, Brad Voss, Kesha McLemore, Crystal
Spigle, Jamie Dutton, Erin Strange and Ginger Presley.

Great Grandchildren and Honorary Pallbearers – Anna Kate Segars, Glavine Segars,
Lou Segars, Carter McLemore, Kara McLemore, Bo Presley, Lelia
Presley, Ellie Claire Presley, Austin Voss, Raigan Voss, Kobe
Strange, Brileigh Strange, Ryler Dutton, Mollie Dutton and
Zachary Dye.
