Patsy Jane Martin, age 80, resident of Culleoka, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19th at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Please all in attendance follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and facial coverings. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Patsy was born November 17, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant and was the daughter of the late Malcolm Johnson and the late Jane Evins Johnson. She retired in 2007 from Manchester Health and Rehabilitation where she had worked many years. Some of her hobbies included crossword puzzles, reading, and cruising. Before her illness she was always on the go. She enjoyed working in her yard and with flowers. She had a servant’s heart always working in healthcare taking care of others.
She is survived by her sons: Billy (Betty) Martin of Culleoka and David Martin of Fayetteville; sister: Mona (Jack) Westmoreland of Culleoka; grandchildren: Jeffrey Martin, Kevin Martin, Joshua Hollinsworth, Tammy Brooks, and Dustin Eells; 8 great grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Martin; and grandchild: Katrina Brooks.
