Lilly Scott Johnson, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at her residence. She was a native of Nashville, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram Harrison and Dona Goad Scott; her husband, George Herbert Johnson, Sr.; two sons, Donald Ray Johnson and George Herbert Johnson, Jr.; one daughter, Pamela Johnson; brothers and sisters, Martha Elaman, Lillian Jenkins, Charlie Scott, Harrison Scott, Jr., Zelma Lowe, Vee Cuff, Betty Taft, Rosie Nichols, Jean Scott, Laura Story, and Kaye Garber.
She is survived by one daughter, Hope Sherrell (Dennis) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Patrick Johnson (Lynn) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two brothers, Jimmy Scott (Brenda) and Phillip Scott (Gail), both of Waverly, TN; one sister, Emma Morris (Jim) of Westmoreland, TN; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Johnson of Lawrenceburg, TN; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and special friend, Debra Comer of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2021, with Hope Sherrell and Chad Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
