Senia Flippo Skelton Senia Marie Flippo Skelton was born October 24, 1935 in Waynesboro, TN. She is the daughter of the late William Cleveland Flippo and Pearl Keeton. She was united in marriage to Charlie Hendrix Skelton on August 5, 1950. Mr. Skelton preceded her in death on March 4, 1984. She had formerly lived in Wyandotte, MI and Waynesboro, TN, before making Hohenwald her home. She retired from the dietary department at Riverside Hospital in Trenton, MI. After moving to Hohenwald, she was employed by Lewis County Elementary School. She will always be fondly remembered by her green thumb and her love for her rose gardens. She attended Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro and Blondy Church of God in Hohenwald after moving. Mrs. Skelton departed this life on January 11, 2021 in Hohenwald at the age of 85 Years, 2 Months and 18 Days.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Skelton and wife Sandy of Hohenwald, TN, Doug Skelton and wife Lisa of Hohenwald, TN, Randy Skelton and wife Ingrid of Summertown, TN; a brother, Bill Hicks of Brownstown, MI; two sisters, Mattie Skelton of Hohenwald, TN, Ruby Hammack and husband John of Lincoln Park, MI; 14 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Skelton was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Seiber Flippo; a son, Charles Allen Skelton; a daughter, Glenda Kay Skelton Williams; a great grandson, Ryan Skelton; five brothers, Henry Ford Flippo, W.C. Flippo, Leon Flippo, James Flippo, Vester Hicks; and three sisters, Pauline Camper, Magdaline Leftwich, Norma Mooney.

Services will be held on Thursday January 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bill Webb and Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting
