Melvin Clyde Piper “Bud”, 72, of Guntersville, AL, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Per his request he will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time. Mr. Piper, “Bud” proudly served in the United States Army Infantry Division and fought in the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by his, wife, Sue Piper, father, Melvin Clyde Piper. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Smith (Jesse) of Harrisburg, PA, son, Keenan Pearce (Patricia) of Albertville, AL, 1 Sister, 1 Brother, 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great- Grandchildren. The family asks that donations be made to the local VA in his honor. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
