Virginia Rose Lawler Stovall Virginia Rose Lawler Stovall, age 79, formerly of Hodges Alabama passed away Thursday, January 07, 2021 at her residence in Chattanooga, TN. She was born to Henley Philip Lawler and Cora Webb Lawler on November 25, 1941.

Virginia was a retired teacher and principal in the Marion county school district at both Hackleburg and Hamilton. She also taught at North West Alabama community college. She loved teaching and has had an impact on hundreds of people’s lives. Her avocation was collecting and merchandizing Fenton glass.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home a private family service will follow in the chapel at 6:30 p.m. with Bro. Randal Tice officiating. A public graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021at Old Line Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henley and Cora Lawler.

She leaves the following to cherish her memories, her sister, Corliss Lawler; beloved niece, Samantha Gober Garner (husband, Johnny); great nieces, Lawler Murray Sewell (husband, Sean), Graicen O’Neal Hixson and her father Stephen; dear cousin, Rebecca Lawler Davidson; friend, Deb Godfrey; beloved service dog, Teddy; a host of other relatives and friends.
