Paula Kaye Lucas Ledbetter, age 54, of Hackleburg Alabama, Passed away January 06,2021 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born on January 10, 1966 in Guin AL to Joseph Lucas and Faye Jackson. She later married Kent Ledbetter on February 15,1991.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 10,2021 the Marion County funeral Home with the service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. David Sullivan and Bro. Philip Goad officiating and burial at Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg Alabama.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lucas and Faye Jackson.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, husband, Kent Ledbetter; mother, Nelda Lucas

daughters, Morgan (Chad) Hudson, Kaleah Ledbetter; grandchildren: Lucas & Jaxsen Hudson; brothers, Rodney (Dadra) Lucas, Lance (Melissa) Sexton; sisters, Susan (David) Westbrooks, Tammy (Ray) Barnett, Kayla (Drew) Hunsinger; sister-in-laws: Lynn (Stan) Swinney, Marla (Philip) Goad, nieces and nephews, McCall, Kristen (Tyler, Daniel (Gracie) Kadra (Austin), Stran, Courtney (Matthew), Kayla (Josh) Evan, Preston, A host of great nieces and nephews.

Paula was a wonderful wife, mother, NeNe, sister, friend and daughter. She had a pure heart and always tried to leave others with a smile. She never met a stranger and would listen for hours to anyone that needed someone to talk to. She tried to make every situation fun and memorable. Paula love to spending time in the kitchen for her family and friends. She could make the best fried chicken and broccoli casserole. Paula had a voice of an angel she never turned down an opportunity to sing for the Lord or in the car. Paula also like shopping thrif store showing, she knew how o find a deal. Paula will be missed by so many she has touch in her life but never forgotten. The family would like to thank Vanderbilt Medical Center and their excellent nurses for her outstanding care.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to Hope Lodge in Nashville. The Hope lodge is a housing organization for cancer patients to stay for free while they are seeking treatment and having o stay long periods of time. They were wonderful during her four month stay last year.
