Marcus “Mark” Wayne Coffman, 53 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Coffman was born on September 11th, 1967 to Robert Junior Coffman and Mary Rosie Barnes Coffman.
Mr. Coffman is survived by his wife, Melinda Patterson; stepsons Joshua Patterson and Jeremy Patterson (Kayrn); grandchildren Kayla Patterson and Evan Patterson; great-grandchild Kinsley Owens; sisters Carolyn Coffman, Jenny Coffman, and Judy Pugh; brothers Johnny Coffman, Larry Coffman, and Charlie Coffman (LeaAnn); nephews Gary Coffman, Tracy Waddell, Junior Coffman, Tyler Coffman, and Sam Coffman; nieces Ashley Coffman and Jennifer Craig; and special Aunt Robbie Powers.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother Phillip “Buster” Morris Coffman; sister Betty Waddell.
Funeral services for Mr. Coffman will be Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Webster officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery.
