Mr. Joe V. Lawless, age 77, of Guntersville formerly of Smyrna, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Lawless was born on October 26, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Claude Lawless & Hattie Emma Belle Jones Lawless. In his past time you could catch him watching football, listening and watching Gospel video’s. He loved his family and friends and never meet a stranger.
Mr. Lawless is survived by his children, Sherry (Ronnie) Berry, Nancy Wallace, Kari Powell, Kevin Scheer; brother, Calvin Lawless; grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Arduser, Robert Lindsay, J.D. Whited, Josh (Stephanie) Berry, Joey (Haley) Powell, Nathan Powell, Brian Powell, Louis Fiori; great grandchildren, Christopher, Kourtney, Selena, Zila, Rylee, Kathryn, Hunter, Mirah, Alyssa, Weston. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lawless; daughter, Penny Lawless; grandsons, Matthew Berry, James Whited; granddaughters, Jessica Berry, Angela Scheer.
Memorial service will take place at the Community Church on Saturday – January 9, 2021 starting at 12:00 p.m. with David Post, officiating.
