Martha Davis  Martha Davis, age 75, passed away on January 04, 2021, at her home in Mount Pleasant, TN.

Martha was born on May 15, 1945, in Maury County to her late parents Athol and Virginia Calvert Smith.

There are many ways to describe Martha, a few words that come to mind: iron-willed, independent, and tough as nails. All of the things that made her the incredible mother that she is. Known as the best cook in the world, Martha, was no stranger to how the wonders of butter could make a dish delicious. When she wasn’t in the kitchen making her famous biscuits, you could find her out in the tobacco fields working hard and cutting up or supporting her grandbabies at every single one of their fast-pitch softball games. She had a familiar face around town, never meeting anyone she didn’t know. She loved hunting and fishing, and above all else is relaxing on vacation. She loved her family deeply and made sure they all knew it. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her and all the lives she had touched.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
